Hi my loves 💕 I'm finally back! My big freelance illustrator deadlines are done and submitted and I'm ready to get back into sharing all the art pieces I've accumulated during this time haha.

I wanted to start with this artwork because it's one of my favourites of the year! I got the opportunity to illustrate the endpages of a ya Dutch new release, which came out last september! It's the first of many exclusive limited Dutch book editions of @somanypages

Anyways, I also wanted to give a little life update! I finished the graphic novel I've been working on for the past year, which is very exciting! I can't wait to get my copy! 😍 I'll be doing an announcement soon about this graphic novel!

Almost at 1.5k!!! I've been growing like crazy the past few weeks (for how much you can grow on instagram) and I'm so grateful for all you guys who like my illustrations! Last April I reached 1k and after that my growth was very slow, but in the past week I got around 100 of you guys who want to support my art ❤️ I want to say thank you! And hi to all my new followers/ fellow artists!

This digital artwork was made with photoshop, but these days I use Clip Studio Paint to create my illustrations and graphic novels ❤️

It's been a long wait but it's finally finished. I'm very happy with it. This is the type of art I've always wanted to make, but never had the confidence of doing. This year I really started to include detailed backgrounds in my pieces since I've always looked up to artists who seem to make magical backgrounds like @devinellekurtz, @simz.art & @artofmaxinevee for example (if you don't follow them yet, look them up, they make beautiful and magical pieces).

I thought Witchtober was the perfect way to start of my journey of personal pieces with focus on scenery and well... vibes.

I used to always make my sketches neat and almost treat it like line art, but it takes so much time working on a concept that way (especially if you have to make multiple sketches).
